Last night Matt and I attended Green Drinks, held at Trattoria il Centro in downtown OKC.
The bartenders make a special lemon-basil martini. I daintily sipped (how else can you drink a martini?) it while discussing work, blogs, books, flooring, food, and swimming pools. The food was secondary to the good company and discussion, but after sampling a few of the dishes the staff brought out, I’m convinced we’ll have to go back for a full-on meal.
The appetizers were delicious: veggie and cheese pizzas made their way around the tables. As well as some freakin’ awesome risotto balls: gooey risotto with a crispy breading and a warm goat-cheese center. Holy-moly!
An added bonus: my favorite producer at the Edmond Farmers’ Market, John Leonard, sells produce to Trattoria.
Hi Tricia! I’m excited to check out your blog. It was great talking with you and Matt at Trattoria. I could totally go for another lemon-basil martini right now (mmm)!
